I love the trees that line our highways. I didn’t notice them/think about them actively until my colleague from the Netherlands pointed them out on the grab ride. “What do you like about Singapore?” “I love the trees here. They are everywhere along the roads.” Amongst the many things to like about Singapore, she liked the trees, which are not exactly scarce where she came from. Since then, I can’t take my eyes off the trees whenever I’m on the road too.
