Thoughts on the photo:
I remember being so happy after checking this shot. ’Omg nice!!!’ He obviously didn’t feel the same way. And I laughed for a good minute or two. At his expression. At the composition. At the blur. And said to myself “j’adore ça!”.
In hindsight, this photo feels a bit boring compared to the other two. This photo does not feel as fluid, and the composition is not as intriguing. This was probably because this photo was the first satisfactory photo of the series, and I made adjustments afterwards.
My goal for this series of shots was to make the subject sharper than the background by moving the camera with the subject.

Thoughts on the photo:
I wasn’t pleased with this shot immediately after. But looking back, the contrast of his shirt and bike against the grass is nice. He also feels like an interesting character. The riding posture mainly.
On another note, the light part of the grass feels like a shaded texture on Procreate.

Thoughts on the photo:
Another goal of the series was to play with the shadows of the composition. Hoping that the bicycle would emerge from the dark into the light. I’m happy with how that idea turned out in this photo. I like how only half of his bike was in the light. His white shirt also completed the scene.
I decided not to ‘copy edit settings’ even though they are kind of the same scene, with similar colours. The different characters in the photos made me feel differently about them. The colour of their clothes and their body posture make me want to create a different mood with the colours.
